NEW MOWER FOR THE SQUARE

Dear All,
I have just received confirmation
from Edwin Roberts that our new mower will be delivered tomorrow
morning (Thursday 19th) at 10.00 a.m. I will be there to meet
Edwin and get his advice on set-up and use of the mower.
Edwin will take our existing
pitch mower away for re-furbishment and has generously offered
to lend us a "Pitch Cutter" mower to avoid having to
reset our new mower (which will be used for cutting the square,
only, although it is capable of cutting strips).
I am advised that Edwin
has all parts necessary for refurbishing our mower and that the
job should take "a week or so".
Arrangements for payment
for the "new" mower: We get to try out the mower and
if not completely satisfied we talk to Edwin. If satisfied, we
put a cheque for £800 in the post.
Arrangements for payment
for the existing pitch cutter: I'll ask Edwin to keep me in touch
if the cost goes over £500 (bear in mind he'll be changing
the engine & drive, cylinder, bottom blade & bearings
& servicing it). Then I think a similar arrangement will occur.
