We understand that
Keyworth II have had their points adjusted and according
to the latest division L table on the South Notts web site,
Caythorpe IV are shown as champions with Wilsons II in 2nd
place - congratulations to Vasim and his men.

Sad end to promising
season
The 1st XI's season
finished on a disappointing note with another defeat at
the hands of promoted Wollaton II.
The home side batted
first and accumulated 209-5. In reply we were bowled out
for just 117 with only Iftikhar Ahmed with 49 troubling
the scorers.
After this result
the 1sts drop to 7th in division D having been in the top
half of the table all season.
Attenborough II
and Wollaton II are the 2 promoted sides with Stanton-by-Dale
being relegated.

The
2nd XI at Stanton
The 2nd XI finished
their season with a cracking win at home to leaders Caythorpe
IV.
Batting first at
Regatta Way they were led by Amir Shazard with 87 out of
a total of 169-8.
Caythorpe were then
bowled out for just 110 with Amir following up his batting
with 3-26 and former 1st teamers Steve Maxey and
Tim Caldwell each taking 3 wickets.
Annual Tour
The club's annual
cricket tour started on Wednesday 27 August - Bristol was
the venue. Two games were played against Failand
and Portbury CC and a hastily arranged game against
Bristol.
